The creation of “Escape From Chaos” was one of the most free-flowing, intuitive painting sessions I’ve ever had. The majority of the surface detail was created by squeezing paint from the tube directly onto the canvas and then using a skewer to achieve the swirly background effect. What I personally find most interesting about this work, is how the word “move” emerged above the flock of bird-like creatures. Neither was intentional (at least not on my part), but appeared on their own as if the painting itself was trying to send a message.
